Terms of Service
By creating an account you agree to these terms. They are written plainly on purpose; if anything is unclear, ask at support@circuvent.com before you rely on it.
What Prep is
A personal workspace for career, learning and wellbeing: tracking a job search, building skills, storing documents, forming habits, and talking to other people doing the same.
Your account
- You must be at least 13 years old.
- Give an email address you actually control — it is how you recover access.
- You are responsible for what happens under your account. Tell us promptly if you think someone else has access.
- One person per account. Do not share credentials.
The document vault
Documents are encrypted on your device with a key derived from a passphrase we never receive.
Acceptable use
Do not use Prep to:
- harass, threaten, impersonate or abuse anyone;
- post content that is illegal, or that sexualises minors;
- share other people's private information without their consent;
- upload documents you have no right to hold;
- break into, overload or probe the service, or evade its rate limits;
- scrape or bulk-extract other members' data;
- advertise, spam or recruit for schemes.
Community spaces are moderated. Posts can be removed and accounts muted or removed for breaking these rules. Serious cases may be reported to the relevant authorities.
AI features
Where AI assistance is offered, it produces suggestions from a language model. Output can be wrong, out of date, or confidently mistaken. It is labelled as generated wherever it appears.
Check anything you intend to rely on. Do not send an AI-drafted message to an employer, or act on AI-generated advice about a qualification, without reading it first.
Mail features
If you connect Gmail, Prep reads job-search-related messages to classify them and prepare replies. Prep cannot send email on your behalf. Drafts go to your own drafts folder for you to review and send. You can disconnect at any time.
The recovery module is not medical care
If you are in crisis or at risk of harming yourself, contact your local emergency number or a crisis line immediately. Numbers are shown throughout that section.
Career content is guidance, not advice
Qualifications, licensing requirements, salary ranges and timelines vary by country, state and employer, and they change. Everything in Prep is a starting point to verify, not professional careers, legal, immigration or financial advice. Confirm anything that matters with the relevant regulator or professional body before acting on it.
Your content
What you create stays yours. You grant us only the permission needed to run the service — storing it, backing it up, and showing it to the people you choose to show it to. We claim no other rights, and we do not use your content to train models.
Availability
Prep is provided as-is, without a guaranteed level of availability. It may be unavailable during maintenance or because of a fault. Export your data periodically if it matters to you; the option is in Settings.
Ending your account
You can delete your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend or remove an account that breaks these terms, and will explain why unless doing so would interfere with a safety or legal matter.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of Prep, including lost opportunities, lost data, or decisions taken on the basis of its content. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
Changes
We may update these terms. Material changes will be announced in the app before they take effect. Continuing to use Prep afterwards means you accept the updated terms.
